Software Engineer
Job Description
Join the Bioanalytics Systems & Technologies Group on an onsite Software Engineer role supporting multiple software projects for national security use cases.
Responsibilities
- Develop user-interfaces for bioanalytics and related systems
- Build software that supports harmonization of medical and health data
- Deliver web-based application development
- Contribute to modeling and simulation efforts
- Develop data streaming applications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
- Knowledge of the Software Design and Development Life-cycle
- Experience working in an agile operating model
- Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks
- Proficiency with relational databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL, plus SQL
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
Preferred / Desired Requirements
- Front-end development experience using JavaScript or TypeScript and React
- AI/ML or data science experience (a plus)
- Experience with biological and medical data (a plus)

- USD 100,200 - 150,000 per year
