Job Description
Within KPMG's Digital Nexus technology organization, the Senior Associate, AI Application Developer translates AI concepts into practical software solutions. This onsite role in Montvale, New Jersey focuses on designing, building, and deploying AI-enabled applications using .NET Core, C#, Python, and cloud platforms, with a strong emphasis on integration and adherence to the software development lifecycle. The position collaborates with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that drive measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AI-enabled applications leveraging .NET Core, C#, Python, and contemporary development frameworks to deliver production-ready software.
- Integrate solutions with Azure, Google Cloud, and enterprise systems to enable seamless interoperability.
- Build agents to interface with APYs and other applications using approaches such as application-to-application (A2A) and MCP, ensuring robust integration.
- Collaborate with solution architects to shape design artifacts and maintain technical documentation.
- Maintain code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and strict adherence to the SDLC.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and propose fit-for-purpose solutions; present technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Represent the firm with integrity and professionalism, upholding a respectful and courteous work environment.
Requirements
- At least three years of recent experience delivering AI platforms or solutions that drive business outcomes, with hands-on experience in Python and cloud AI services such as Azure AI or Google AI.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Prior full-stack development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Azure stack, AKS, API development, and DevOps practices.
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, BASH, YAML) and automation testing, AI/ML frameworks, agent-based development, MLOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
