Job Description

Infinite Edge, Inc. is seeking a Senior Android Developer to build and take ownership of the IcyBox Android application. This is an in-person role based in New York, NY, working five days per week at the company’s New York City office.

Role Overview

In this position, you will shape the customer browsing, buying, and unboxing experience through a React Native Android app. You will be responsible for delivering new functionality, maintaining production quality, and partnering with product and design to produce polished user-facing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and ship new features for an Android React Native application.
  • Own app performance, stability, and crash rate across releases.
  • Write clean, tested Rust and React Native code, and review teammates’ code.
  • Collaborate with product and design to turn ideas into high-quality customer experiences.
  • Integrate with backend APIs, payments, and push notification services.
  • Manage and oversee releases to the Google Play Store.
  • Contribute to Android architecture and team best practices as the team expands.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Android development experience, including apps shipped to the Google Play Store.
  • Expertise in Android development and React Native.
  • Experience with testing, CI workflows, and app performance tuning.
  • Strong attention to user interface details, animation, and overall user experience.
  • Ability to own features end to end.

Compensation and Location

Location: New York, NY (onsite), five days per week at the New York City office.

Salary: USD 180,000 - 220,000 per year.
