Senior Advanced Software Engineer/Atlassian & DevOps Tools Expert

Senior Advanced Software Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace with a focus on Atlassian tooling and DevOps and DevSecOps practices, enabling secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and scalable software solutions across the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and sustain dependable, scalable, and secure software solutions across the stack.
• Steer the setup, ongoing administration, and tailored configuration of Atlassian products including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo to enable Agile and DevOps workflows.
• Design and run CI/CD pipelines that integrate source control, build, test, security scanning, and artifact management components.
• Oversee Artifactory based artifact repositories, covering structure, access governance, and lifecycle controls.
• Integrate and manage software quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Black Duck Hub, and Coverity to support DevSecOps practices.
• Automate processes, reporting, and dashboards spanning DevOps and DevSecOps tooling to boost developer productivity and compliance.
• Partner with development, security, and infrastructure teams to embed security and quality checks early in the SDLC.
• Diagnose and resolve CI/CD, build, and deployment challenges across multiple environments.
• Coach junior engineers and establish best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, and tool usage.
• Keep abreast of evolving DevOps, DevSecOps, and AI-assisted development technologies and propose enhancements.
• Travel up to 10 percent as required.
