Qliksense Developer

Qliksense Developer position onsite in New Brunswick, NJ with Sonsoft Inc, focused on BI and data warehousing using Qlik Sense, including ETL, performance tuning, and client/offshore coordination.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for Qlik applications.
• Design and build Qlik Sense applications aligned with requirements and KPIs.
• Bridge ETL gaps to meet reporting needs.
• Optimize performance and establish best practices, standards, and procedures.
• Hands-on Qlik Sense application development, along with document analysis, design, test cases, and unit testing.
• Coordinate with the QA team.
• Reverse engineer existing reports from Cognos, MSBI, or Excel.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to technology.
• Coordinate with clients and offshore teams.

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of experience in BI and reporting concepts.
• Strong expertise in BI and report development concepts.
• Hands-on development experience with Qlik Sense applications.
• Proficiency in SQL, Exadata, and Cognos reports.
• Ability to develop Qlik Sense applications and QVDs based on requirements.
• Ability to document analysis, design, and unit test cases.
• Proficient in data warehousing concepts.
• Understanding of Sales, Finance, Inventory Management domains and related KPIs.
• Ability to implement development standards, review strategies, and performance tuning.
• Ability to coordinate with clients and offshore teams.
