Python Developer

The Python Developer role at Robotics Technologies is focused on turning product stories into well-defined requirements and delivering production-ready solutions. The position includes proof of concept work, implementation with unit testing, and collaboration to address technical complexity in a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support story refinement and help define requirements for planned work.
• Conduct spike and proof of concept efforts to reduce risk and validate new ideas.
• Develop solutions and unit tests that satisfy the acceptance criteria established for each deliverable.
• Apply knowledge of multiple architectural components, including data, application, and business layers, when designing and implementing client requirements.
• Assist the team in resolving technical complexities encountered during design and delivery.
• Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for integration, regression, and performance testing.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Python Developer in a large enterprise environment
• Working knowledge of the Python Django Framework
• Knowledge of Angular and ES6/HTML5/CSS3
• Knowledge of MySQL databases
• Understanding of Git version control
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks
• Experience working in an Agile development process and familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience with the FastAPI framework
• Knowledge of designing and implementing event-based integration services using message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
