This contract role in Oakland, CA is hybrid remote, combining PowerApps development and data engineering with a compensation of USD 85-100 per hour.

Create and sustain PowerApps applications and components
Design Dataverse schema, manage security, and implement integrations
Build and operate data pipelines and system integrations
Engage with stakeholders to elicit requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
Enable secure, scalable data movement across platforms, including Microsoft Fabric and enterprise systems
Assist in deploying machine learning models to production environments
Diagnose and fix complex data and application problems
Produce documentation and suggest process improvements
Mentor junior engineers and teammates

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
More than five years of experience in data engineering and ETL ecosystems
Extensive hands-on experience with PowerApps and Dataverse
Experience using Spark, Informatica, SAP BODS, OBIEE, or Palantir Foundry
Familiarity with CI/CD, unit testing, and version control practices
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and ability to manage stakeholders effectively
