Power BI/Python Developer

Deloitte's AI & Analytics team is seeking a Delivery consultant who designs and delivers scalable Power BI dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions using SQL and Python within an agile, government-focused environment. This hybrid role is anchored in Lake Mary, Florida, and aims to empower Fleet Readiness Centers with timely, reliable insights that inform maintenance, operations, and strategic decisions. The position blends data visualization, data modeling, and automation to support complex, cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports to support maintenance, operational, and business decision-making across Fleet Readiness Centers.
• Translate user stories and business requirements into actionable data models, visualizations, and analytics solutions within an agile delivery framework.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and modeling using SQL and Power BI tools to ensure high-quality, reliable datasets.
• Leverage Python for data wrangling, automation, and advanced analytics to enhance reporting capabilities and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional government and contractor teams, actively participating in agile ceremonies (standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) to deliver iterative product improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Active Secret security clearance required
• 4+ years of experience in Power BI development, including dashboard design, data modeling, and report publishing
• 2+ years experience in SQL for data querying, transformation, and performance optimization
• 2+ years experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or scripting
• 1+ years experience working in an agile or scrum environment with strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements

• Hybrid Work Model: Residence within commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg)
• Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
• Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes
• Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance
