Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy backend-focused, database-driven web applications using PHP, SQL, and related web technologies
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in line with best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and development environments
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into web applications
• Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance skills
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Contribute to technical documentation, including user guides and API documentation
• Support process improvements and best practices within the development team
• Work to ensure uptime and deliver an optimal user experience
• Understand and mitigate common web application security concerns
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining Linux servers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of PHP development experience
• Proficiency in SQL, including MySQL, SAP HANA, and SQL Server; ability to write and optimize queries
• Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git
• Experience with web performance optimization
• Experience in Linux system administration
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
