This is a 100% remote, full-time direct W2 role with Bright Vision Technologies, delivered through an in-house SOW engagement. You will work directly for Bright Vision Technologies with no third-party clients involved. Responsibilities
- Design and implement PeopleSoft customizations using Application Designer, covering pages, components, records, fields, and PeopleCode.
- Build Application Engine programs for batch processing, data conversion, and ETL style workloads.
- Develop Component Interfaces, Integration Broker services, and File Layouts to connect PeopleSoft with internal and external systems.
- Create SQR and BI Publisher reports, with performance tuning and complex layout design.
- Configure and maintain PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) configurations and notifications.
- Develop nVision reports for financial reporting needs, adhering to disciplined engineering practices and aligning with team standards.
- Conduct fit-gap analyses with functional consultants and translate requirements into clean technical designs.
- Follow enterprise customization standards and minimize core modifications to facilitate future upgrades.
- Lead unit testing, support functional and integration testing, and resolve defects during UAT and hypercare.
- Optimize SQL performance against PeopleSoft data models using explain plans, indexing, and statistics tuning.
- Document technical designs, code, and operational procedures in line with governance guidelines.
- Provide hands-on post go-live and hypercare support, triaging incidents and driving durable fixes.
- Mentor junior PeopleSoft developers and serve as a technical reference for the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of PeopleSoft technical development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with PeopleTools, Application Designer, and PeopleCode.
- Solid experience with Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.
- Hands-on experience with SQR and BI Publisher.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with the PeopleSoft data model.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions data structures.
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.
- Working knowledge of Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Employment terms and visa policy
This role is 100% remote and full-time, and is a direct W2 position with Bright Vision Technologies.
The engagement is part of Bright Vision Technologies in-house SOW. We do not engage in C2C, 1099, or third-party arrangements for this role. No new H1B sponsorship is available, but H1B transfers are welcome for qualified candidates. A technical coding assessment is mandatory as part of the application process.

Preferred qualifications
- PeopleSoft certifications.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM/ERP integration scenarios.
- Exposure to Fluid UI development.
- Familiarity with Oracle DBA fundamentals.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for PeopleSoft integrations.
