Job Description
This senior level .NET application developer role is embedded within Citi's Cards technology organization, delivering end-to-end software development across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced financial services environment. The position utilizes both Agile and Waterfall SDLCs, includes leadership responsibilities, and encompasses AI/ML tooling integration, with the role based onsite in Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities
- Oversee software delivery across the full SDLC, selecting Waterfall or Agile methods based on project needs.
- Gather technical requirements, code specifications, and test plans for multiple concurrent projects.
- Conduct analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance with minimal supervision.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve complex issues through thorough evaluation of business and system processes.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards and proactively identify opportunities to modernize existing applications.
- Support development activities within the Mail Management System and Statement System integration environments as part of the Cards SDLC.
- Apply AI/ML development skills, including Agentic AI tools such as Claude and Devin, to enhance capabilities and delivery efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Unix scripts and Autosys job scheduling configurations to support automated workflows.
- Collaborate effectively with remote and distributed teams, fostering positive working relationships across organizational boundaries.
- Lead and integrate within a team of experienced application developers, exercising adaptive leadership in a high-tempo environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application development, systems management, or project delivery with demonstrated growth in scope and responsibility.
- Proficiency in .NET development, including VB.NET and C#, on Windows-based systems.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and SQL Server for application and database development.
- Experience with Unix scripting and Autosys for job scheduling and automation.
- Demonstrated use of GitHub for source control and collaborative software development.
- Familiarity with Agentic AI tools (e.g., Claude, Devin) and AI/ML development practices.
- Experience in the credit card or financial services industry is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Python and/or Precisely client/server-based printing solutions is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead application development teams within both Waterfall and Agile SDLC environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity creatively and deliver results in a high-achieving, fast-paced team environment.

Compensation
Hourly rate: USD 96 per hour
Annual full-time salary range: USD 96,960.00 β USD 145,440.00
