Job Description

IDR, Inc. is looking for a .Net Developer to design, build, and enhance enterprise applications for an Austin, TX public sector or education services client. This hybrid role centers on delivering solutions across the Microsoft technology stack, with a focus on .NET/.NET Core development, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Power Automate workflow development.

You will work as part of a delivery team, partnering with business analysts and development colleagues to shape architecture, define features, and align delivery plans for enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using .NET Core / .NET Framework with modern UI frameworks such as Angular or Blazor.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using C# and Visual Studio 2022.
  • Develop and support SQL Server database solutions, including schema design, stored procedures, and reporting as needed.
  • Create, implement, and maintain Power Automate workflows and related solutions within the MS Power Platform.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and development partners to define architecture, features, and delivery plans.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of proficiency with ASP.NET Framework and strong experience with ASP.NET Core for RESTful API development.
  • 10+ years of SQL Server experience, including database design, Entity Framework / schema design, stored procedures, and SSRS.
  • Hands-on experience with modern UI technologies: HTML, TypeScript, CSS, and JavaScript, plus frameworks such as Angular and/or Blazor.
  • Strong architecture and solution design skills, including experience implementing projects from scratch and unit testing using nUnit.
  • Experience with MS Power Platform, especially Power Automate, along with Dataverse, model-driven / canvas apps, and Power BI.
