Job Description

Adobe is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer in San Jose, CA (onsite) to apply AI and machine learning to big-data challenges across the customer lifecycle. The role emphasizes building predictive and optimization-oriented models, along with scalable algorithms suitable for production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop predictive models on large-scale datasets to address business problems using advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and analytics techniques.
  • Develop and implement scalable, efficient modeling algorithms capable of operating with large-scale data in production environments.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering groups to define and deliver new products and features.

Core Opportunity

  • Apply AI and machine learning methods to big-data problems to help Adobe better understand, lead, and optimize the customer experience.
  • Partner with business units to build products that address complex business challenges throughout the customer lifecycle, from customer analytics to marketing media optimization.
  • Use statistical and econometric methods, predictive modeling, experimental design approaches, and optimization techniques to support research and development initiatives such as attribution, media mix modeling, budget optimization, personalization, causal analysis, and time series analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: PhD or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, Operations Research, Econometrics, or equivalent experience, with an expected graduation date of December 2026 – June 2027.
  • Experience: 0-2+ years of experience in relevant skills.
  • Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, or data mining concepts, with a track record of solving problems using these methods.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Scala, Java, and C.
  • Familiarity with one or more machine learning or statistical modeling tools, such as R, Matlab, and scikit-learn.
  • Knowledge and experience working with relational databases and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills, with a strong team-player mindset.

Salary: USD 102,400 - 202,250 per year
