Job Description

Jr. Net, C#, SQL Developer role for a federal client at General Dynamics Information Technology, requiring an Active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, code, test, and debug new software products while delivering significant enhancements to existing applications.
  • Incorporate design strategies, product specifications, development timelines, and user expectations into usable software capabilities.
  • Address complex hardware and software compatibility and interface design considerations.
  • Research emerging technologies to assess their impact on application performance and execution.
  • Contribute to creating and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
  • Troubleshoot intricate problems and provide customer support for process-specific hardware and application issues.
  • Prepare reports detailing analyses, findings, and project progress.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience, including at least 2 years in software development covering design, coding, testing, and documentation of software products or applications; familiarity with fundamental software development concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Technical Skills: CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance).
  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Preferred Skills: Development experience with .Net, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Location: On customer site, Washington, District of Columbia.

Salary and Benefits Information

The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $92,000 per year. This is not a guarantee of compensation; salary is determined by experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements and could fall outside this range.
