Job Description

Vytwo is hiring a hands-on Java Backend Lead Developer with AI experience for a client-office based role in Dallas, TX. This position is designed for a senior engineer with 10+ years of IT experience who will code in current projects while leading onshore, offshore, and nearshore delivery models.

Role Focus

You will serve as a Java backend lead, contributing directly through coding work in active projects. The role also emphasizes strong backend project development and API experience, with practical use of Java-based frameworks and messaging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a hands-on Java lead with 10+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Perform hands-on coding for current projects.
  • Deliver backend capabilities using Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Kafka.
  • Apply Agile methodologies through hands-on development practices.
  • Provide strong backend project development experience with a focus on API development.
  • Use Java, Spring Boot, and messaging tools in the context of current project delivery.
  • Lead teams across onshore, offshore, and nearshore models from the US location, with at least 2 years of relevant leadership experience.
  • Provide 100% written confirmation of working from the client office; no remote working is available.

Location and Work Arrangement

The role is based in Dallas, TX with onsite client-office attendance starting day one. Remote work is not available, and written confirmation is required.

Compensation

USD 120,000 - 140,000 per year.
