Fullstack Java Developer with Devin AI

Build for a banking environment with a hybrid team in Irving, TX (also listed: Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC). This contract role with Experis pairs fullstack Java development with practical GenAI/LLM delivery using Devin AI, supporting product and platform engineering across moderately complex initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Design, code, test, debug, and document Java 17+ Spring Boot microservices using Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs while meeting enterprise SDLC, security, and data governance requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and risk partners to translate mortgage business requirements into secure and scalable technical solutions.
• Advance adoption of GenAI/LLM technologies, including prompt engineering, workflow orchestration, and tool-augmented agentic systems in a delivery-focused workflow.
• Serve as an escalation point and technical guide, leading moderately complex work and supporting production systems for high availability and performance.

Key skills and requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience (or an equivalent combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education).
• Hands-on experience with Java (preferably Java 17+), Spring Boot, and RESTful service development.
• Practical knowledge of Generative AI and LLM-driven workflows, including prompt design, with experience specifically using Devin AI.
• Microservices and integration patterns, including Oracle JDBC (UCP), plus proficiency with Gradle, Git, and Agile delivery.
• Ability to contribute to modern DevSecOps and CI/CD practices through code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
