Job Description
This on-site Full Stack Developer role (Vue/Node/Ruby) requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and is based in McLean, VA.
Responsibilities
- Provide enterprise system support as part of a software development team
- Translate requirements into maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks
- Manage the product lifecycle from design through development, quality, deployment and ongoing maintenance
- Adopt and enforce best practices across application development
- Collaborate within an Agile Scrum environment
- Build front-end components using Vue, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS and HTML with responsive and accessible design
- Create back-end services in Node.js and Nest.js, including microservices and REST APIs
- Write and maintain code with Git and contribute to improvements for large scale Java/J2EE products
- Establish and sustain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker and Kubernetes
- Leverage AWS DevOps services such as S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and CloudFormation
- Work with PostgreSQL and Oracle, perform SQL development and design database schemas, using ORM tech like JPA2 and Hibernate
- Demonstrate familiarity with Nitro
Requirements
- Education: BA/BS in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications or work experience
- Experience: 15+ years in related roles
- Proficiency with Vue, Node.js and JavaScript, plus demonstrated Ruby/Ruby on Rails development
- Front end: Single Page Applications with Vue, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS and HTML; responsive and accessibility-compliant design
- Back end: Microservices, REST, Node.js, Nest.js
- Build and code management: Git; experience contributing to large-scale Java/J2EE products
- Ability to define system scope through research and fact-finding for moderately complex information systems
- Translate software requirements into workable solutions within existing frameworks
- Follow the product lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance
- Adhere to established best practices for application development
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
- DevOps/Platforms experience: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc)
- CI/CD: Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes
- Relational databases and SQL with ORM experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle; JPA2, Hibernate); proficient in DB schema design and SQL development
- Familiarity with Nitro
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Location: McLean, VA on customer site
- US Citizenship required

Salary and Benefits Information
- The likely salary range is 186,542 to 252,379 USD per year. Compensation depends on experience, location and contractual requirements and may fall outside this range.
