Overview

As a full stack developer centered on Next.js, Node.js, and AI-enabled capabilities, you will contribute to AppVault’s recruitment platform by delivering robust, scalable software. This role blends hands-on feature work with opportunities to shape the product as it evolves alongside advancing AI capabilities.

What you'll build

• Web applications crafted with Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• RESTful APIs and real-time features using WebSockets
• Responsive, high-performance user interfaces that scale
• AI-powered features integrated directly into the platform
• Code that is clean, well-reviewed, and accompanied by testing and debugging practices

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience with Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience building with language models from OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar providers
• Familiarity with AI agents, vector databases, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures
• Comfort working with Git, code reviews, and collaborative workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication
• A genuine curiosity about the next steps in AI and a track record of acting on it

Bonus points

• Azure DevOps and cloud hosting experience
• Hands-on work with AI agents, autonomous workflows, or multi-step reasoning systems
• Serverless architecture or Docker and Kubernetes familiarity
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
• Background in Agile or Scrum methodologies
