Full Stack Developer Lead
Job Description
The Full Stack Developer Lead at Credit Union of Texas is responsible for shaping and sustaining the organization’s web presence, the online banking platform, and internal systems. The role operates within Agile processes to deliver cohesive front-end and back-end solutions, prioritizing clean, testable code and thorough documentation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with staff across all levels to design, maintain, and enhance the company website, online banking platform, and internal systems used by members and employees.
- Produce clean, efficient code and work with teammates in an Agile environment to complete projects.
- Develop well architected, testable code employing front-end and back-end best practices with a mobile-first, responsive design approach.
- Build and maintain websites and user interfaces while integrating data from back-end databases and services.
- Plan user interactions for the website and collaborate with UI/UX designers and the graphic design team to ensure visuals align with global branding.
- Participate in regular SCRUM meetings and cooperate with other developers as part of the agile framework.
- Prioritize, review, audit, and refactor secure code while documenting and commenting code clearly to facilitate team collaboration.
- Engage with business stakeholders and management to understand requirements and produce technical specifications and supportive documentation.
- Implement quick and precise fixes requested by business owners.
- Work across integrated systems enabling bi-directional data flow through APIs and OAuth connections.
- Maintain software stability through regression testing, quality assurance support, and unit testing to ensure smooth production operations.
- Configure and enable tracking and analytics collection to monitor application performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry changes in technology and practice.
Requirements
- Three years of related experience, including both front-end and back-end application development.
- Understanding of object-oriented methodologies and approaches.
- Experience with relational databases and data modeling.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, including CRM, SFA, and ERP environments.
