FACS Cache Developer

Transworld Systems, Inc. is hiring a Remote Cache Developer to support the Finvi FACS platform using InterSystems Caché technologies. You will design, build, enhance, and support custom application functionality, APIs, automation, and production-ready improvements, following established development standards across the software development lifecycle.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain InterSystems Caché ObjectScript applications supporting the Finvi FACS platform.
• Develop and maintain Caché macro routines, Caché Server Pages (CSP), and Caché Classes.
• Create API interfaces and web functionality using CSP and related web technologies.
• Build PowerShell scripts to automate operational processes using ActiveBatch.
• Analyze and troubleshoot production issues by reviewing and debugging FACS code.
• Work with and maintain FACS Tactics, Logic Blocks, Enable formats, Letters, System Options, Client Options, and Night Jobs.
• Participate in code reviews to support quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.
• Perform unit testing, support user acceptance testing, and validate production deployments.
• Promote code across development, test, and production environments using established change management procedures.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for enhancements and system changes.
• Provide production support and collaborate with business and IT teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
• Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge with team members.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of application development experience.
• Experience with InterSystems Caché ObjectScript, including macro routines, CSP, and Caché Classes.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON, and PowerShell scripting.
• Understanding of the Finvi FACS database structure and application functionality.
• Experience with SDLC processes, testing, deployment, and change management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Finvi FACS in the accounts receivable or collections industry.
• Experience with ActiveBatch or enterprise job schedulers.

Location: Atlanta, GA (remote) | Salary: USD 90,000 - 110,000 per year
