Entry to Mid Level Mobile App Developer

Adidev Technologies Inc is seeking entry to mid-level mobile app developers for iOS and Android client projects in Dearborn, MI (onsite), with possible relocation based on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and debug large-scale mobile applications for one of Adidev Technologies’ well-known clients

Requirements

• Android: at least 1 year of experience with Java and Kotlin
• Android: at least 1 application published to the Play Store (familiarity with the publishing process)
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, handling multiple Android versions, and accommodating different screen sizes
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries for common tasks
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting Android apps to back-end services
• Comfortable with Git and source control
• A strong work ethic with the ability to manage yourself and your time
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• iOS: proficient with Swift and Objective-C, plus Cocoa Touch
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation
• Experience using design patterns such as MVC and Singleton
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting iOS apps to back-end services
• Familiarity with 3rd-party API integrations including Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, GoogleDrive, Bluetooth, and Keychain
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
• Experience with performance and memory tuning tools such as Instruments and Shark (depending on project needs)
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Relocation: willing to relocate depending on client assignment
