Job Description

Build and maintain enterprise-grade data pipelines that support reporting and analytics through reliable data systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data warehouse and data lake solutions
  • Assist with building and maintaining ETL processes
  • Create data pipelines to move data from source systems into storage platforms
  • Support data cleaning and preprocessing to maintain high data quality
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, addressing issues as they occur
  • Maintain system logs and support smooth operation of data workflows
  • Assist with maintaining and upgrading existing data infrastructure, including databases and data warehouses
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
  • Document data workflows, pipelines, and related technical processes
  • Keep organized records for data sources and data transformations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL and Python
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server
  • Strong understanding of SQL for querying and manipulating relational data
  • Exposure to data processing tools and frameworks for on-premises and cloud environments (e.g., PySpark, ETL tools, SSIS, Azure Data Factory)
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and analysts
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Databricks (also AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in data engineering technologies

Location: Sioux Falls, SD (onsite)
Salary: USD 73,840 - 111,800 per year
Experience Level: 2 years minimum
