Job Description

Ivory Homes is hiring an experienced Developer HOA Manager to help oversee homeowners associations during the Period of Developer Control. This role is based onsite in Salt Lake City, UT and serves as a key connector between Ivory Development, third-party HOA management companies, homeowners, and community boards to support compliance with Ivory standards and applicable HOA law.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee and manage third-party HOA management companies supporting Ivory communities under developer control.
  • Coordinate the formation and startup of new associations, including initial budgets, governing documents, management contracts, and operating procedures.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Ivory Development and HOA management companies.
  • Review and process homeowner architectural and landscaping applications, ensuring community standards are applied consistently.
  • Oversee HOA financial reporting, annual budgets, reserves, assessments, and overall financial performance.
  • Represent the developer-controlled Board at HOA board meetings, annual meetings, and community meetings.
  • Establish and maintain consistent HOA policies, procedures, and management standards across Ivory communities.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Utah HOA laws and regulations, monitor changes, and coordinate with management companies and legal counsel as needed to support compliance for developer-controlled associations.
  • Coordinate with Ivory Development project managers and internal teams on community operations, maintenance responsibilities, homeowner concerns, and the eventual transition from developer control.
  • Hold HOA management companies accountable for contractual obligations, reporting requirements, financial management, and service levels.

What you bring

  • 3–5 years of HOA or community association management experience.
  • Strong understanding of HOA operations, budgeting, financial reporting, governing documents, architectural review, Board procedures, and applicable HOA law.
  • High organization and the ability to manage multiple associations simultaneously.
  • Comfort working effectively with developers, management companies, homeowners, attorneys, and Board members.
  • Ability to balance day-to-day HOA administration with building consistent, well-managed associations across Ivory communities.
  • Prior experience managing developer-controlled associations is strongly preferred.

Compensation and benefits

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
