Job Description

Intrinsic is hiring a Data Engineer to help build modern simulation platforms for the Aerospace industry. This hybrid role in Colorado Springs, CO supports teams that generate, visualize, and analyze large data sets to enable better decisions through analytical tools. You’ll join a development team focused on delivering high-quality features and growing your skills with current technology.

What you’ll do

  • Develop data insights derived from realistic simulation environments that emulate real-world systems and platforms
  • Partner with project stakeholders to understand simulation and production system requirements, along with relevant metrics
  • Create visualizations that clearly communicate key metrics from large, heterogeneous data sets and formats
  • Validate the accuracy of simulation models and scenarios
  • Contribute to a dynamic, adaptable, high-performing team
  • Deliver product features that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Continuously expand skills using the latest technology

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar technical field) or equivalent practical experience
  • DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • 4+ years of experience with Python
  • Experience with the ELK stack
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools
  • 3+ years of relevant experience on an Agile software development team
  • Experience building, testing, and deploying software
  • Experience using Git in a team environment
  • Interest in learning and growing beyond core job requirements
  • US Citizenship

Clearance details

  • Top Secret clearance is required

  • Experience with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches, including best practices such as Extreme Programming (XP)
  • Interest and ability to learn additional coding languages as needed

Benefits and schedule

Full-time role with a Monday to Friday schedule. Flexible schedule and Paid time off are included.

Compensation: $95,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year.

Work location: Hybrid remote in Colorado Springs, CO 80909 (commute required).
