Curam Software Developer

In Jefferson City, Missouri, RedMane Technology is expanding its Curam practice and seeks a seasoned Curam Software Developer to drive the technical design and development of Curam extensions, configurations, and interfaces. The role emphasizes crafting and testing customizations in collaboration with fellow developers and business analysts, within a hybrid work environment that supports flexible scheduling. This position is an opportunity to contribute to enterprise-scale Curam deployments and help shape the technical direction of client solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design and programming activities for Curam software.
• Develop technical designs for Curam extensions, configurations, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with other developers and business analysts to create and validate high-quality Curam customizations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (5–7 years) with development, testing, and implementation in Curam environments.
• Expertise in Curam rules development.
• Strong recent experience with DB2 and SQL.
• Working knowledge of J2EE architecture.
• Ability to mentor other programmers in quality design and coding techniques and standards.
• Experience with n-tier web-based applications, Unix, Shell Scripting, Ant scripts, JavaScript, XML/XSD, and source code management tools such as Subversion or Git.
• Familiarity with Web Services, EJB, Messaging and other system integration technologies.
• Experience in an enterprise environment with large-scale, complex interdependent systems.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information, applying logical reasoning and sound technical and business knowledge.
• Ability to analyze code to identify causes of errors and revise applications as needed.
• Participation in software design meetings to ensure user needs are met by technical requirements.
• Collaborative work with the broader development team to design, test, and implement Curam code to meet project deadlines.
