Job Description

Oracle is seeking a Consulting Technical Manager, AI Data Engineer to shape and optimize cloud-based data pipelines and AI data platforms for enterprise-scale programs in the intelligence community. This role blends hands-on work with Oracle-based systems in high-volume environments and requires collaboration with data scientists, DBAs, and business analysts, along with TS/SCI eligibility with poly.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines and AI data platforms that support enterprise-scale initiatives in the IC customer space.
  • Work with Oracle-based systems in high-volume environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DBAs, and business analysts to deliver solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database management and building enterprise-scale mission systems, preferably within the federal sector
  • Experience with managing geospatial intelligence data (vectors and rasters)
  • Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as Oracle, AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong experience with architecting and implementing Oracle Databases
  • AI-enabling data using Vector data type, RAG, and MCP
  • Strong knowledge of ETL pipeline design (including data transformations) and implementation for large-scale data systems
  • Containers/Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or other automation tools
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage practices
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DBAs, and business analysts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and presenting solutions
  • The ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI eligibility with poly required

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills
