Backend Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation seeks a Backend Software Engineer - AI Trainer to help train AI models and chatbots, with remote work from Jersey City, NJ, on a contract basis and an hourly rate of USD 50 - 100.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine coding tasks used to teach AI systems.
• Produce clear, well-documented code samples along with detailed explanations.
• Assess AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
• Deliver actionable feedback that shapes the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• Strong English language skills, native or bilingual level.
• Proficiency in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar abilities.
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
