Autonomy Software Engineer
Job Description
The Autonomy Software Engineer at MORSE Corp in Cambridge, MA operates onsite to research, develop, and prototype autonomy software for autonomous systems. - Salary: USD 90,000 - 210,000 per yearly

Responsibilities
- Investigate and build pioneering autonomy software and algorithms for autonomous platforms
- From concept to deployment, create and assess autonomy software, including sensor selection, coding, and data analysis
- Develop and validate algorithms for autonomy, covering sensor fusion, guidance, navigation, and control
- Implement and verify code in simulation and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) environments, and participate in field tests of autonomy software on vehicles and systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary, agile team to rapidly design, prototype, and test autonomous systems
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance
- Experience delivering real-world solutions under computational constraints, with measurement errors and modeling uncertainty
- 5+ years of Autonomy, Guidance, Navigation and/or Controls experience
- Experience developing both algorithms and the simulations used for test and validation
- Expertise in positioning, navigation, and timing, particularly for aircraft
- Experience working on complex, multi-disciplinary R&D programs is preferred
- Education: BS or MS in Aeronautical/Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering (Control or Signal Processing focus) or equivalent degree
