Application Developer – EAI (EDI)

Boston, MA based role with remote option for an experienced Application Developer – EAI (EDI) specializing in IBM ITX and enterprise integration.

Responsibilities

• Leverage IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) to architect, build, test, and sustain EDI and enterprise integration solutions.
• Develop and adjust maps, transformation rules, and translation processes for EDI transactions.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and related database objects.
• Support and troubleshoot EDI transaction processing, data validation, and error resolution.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor, maintain, and support applications running in Unix and Linux environments.
• Provide production support, perform root cause analysis, and resolve incidents.
• Work with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration between internal and external systems.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in EDI/EAI application development and support.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX).
• Proficiency in Oracle and SQL database development.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
