Job Description
Greentec Auto seeks a part-time Android developer to design and implement a new Android application for inventory management. The role integrates with ERP APIs and Microsoft Entra ID authentication and is onsite in Kansas City, KS, with an hourly rate of USD 38-40.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a new Android application to replace the current proof of concept
- Develop barcode scanning workflows compatible with rugged handheld scanners
- Integrate with REST API endpoints exposed by the ERP system, covering inventory lookups, transfers, receiving, and location management
- Implement authentication against Microsoft Entra ID
- Collaborate with the backend team as new API endpoints are introduced
- Maintain and iteratively enhance the app as features are rolled out
Requirements
- Proven experience building and shipping Android applications using Kotlin or Java
- Experience integrating REST APIs and working with token-based authentication
- Experience with barcode scanning or deployment to rugged industrial handheld devices (for example Zebra or Honeywell) is a plus
- Ability to work independently with limited day-to-day oversight
- Writes clean, well-structured code intended for long-term use rather than a quick prototype
