Job Description
Colgate-Palmolive is seeking an AEM Full Stack Developer to build and support digital marketing technologies for the Global Information Technology Marketing Digital Content Organization. This role partners with vendors/agencies and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable web content and marketing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and configure web content management solutions using AEM As Cloud Service and supporting technologies including Java, HTML/DHTML/HTL, advanced JavaScript, CSS, Sass, Less, React, Next JS, Node JS, Vue, Nuxt JS, Angular, and API web services.
- Create and configure components, templates, workflows, site setup, and dispatcher configurations, including production support and maintenance.
- Build and maintain a Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layer and front-end architectural frameworks, including headless architecture through Single Page Applications and AEM Universal Editors.
- Develop and integrate downstream systems and APIs, and support personalization capabilities through Adobe Target and other related technologies.
- Configure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitAction and Adobe Cloud Manager.
- Support internal and vendor teams in delivering strategic e-business objectives by implementing technology solutions and providing high-quality development services aligned to evolving marketing needs.
- Contribute to engagement estimates and execute engagements using Agile practices, including SCRUM.
- Engage in continuous improvement through internal and external learning opportunities and self-study.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of web development experience, including at least 3 years with AEM As Cloud Service, backend Java, and full stack development.
Technical Skills
- Core Tech: Java/J2EE, HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Less, Groovy scripting.
- JS Frameworks: React, Next JS, Node JS, Vue, Nuxt JS, Angular.
- Architectural Proficiency: headless and traditional AEM, Universal Editor, front-end architecture frameworks, BFF layers, and API web services.
- Platforms: AEM As Cloud Service, Apache Dispatcher administration, GitHub/GitActions, Adobe Cloud Manager, and a latest IDE with Vibe Coding.
- Methodologies: Object-Oriented Programming (Java) and Agile/SCRUM.
- Certification: AEM Developer or Lead Developer Certification (preferred).
- Communication & Delivery: excellent verbal and written communication, customer relationship-building skills, adaptability, and strong adherence to delivery methodology and deliverable generation.
Location and Compensation
Location: Piscataway, NJ (hybrid).
Salary: USD 110,000 - 155,000 per year.
