We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer who combines hands-on development expertise with strong client delivery leadership. You will set an example for the team and help guide projects to successful outcomes. The role focuses on delivering Salesforce solutions for nonprofits, schools, and growing organizations, with a passion for exploring new Salesforce capabilities and applying them to client needs. You will enjoy untangling complex automation, refining data architecture, and helping clients operate in a way that supports their mission.

Responsibilities
- Delegate tasks to and mentor other Salesforce Developers and Consultants.
- Independently manage support across the full client portfolio without supervision.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST APIs, OAuth, JSON, and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or n8n.
- Lead client and delegation meetings when needed.
- Review team members' code and configurations to ensure standards are met or exceeded.
- Work with clients to design features and develop estimates.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and Consultants to design, implement, and maintain high-quality solutions.
- Design and build declarative solutions (Flows, Lightning Record Pages, Sharing Rules) and programmatic solutions (Apex, LWC, SOQL).
- Apply strong data modeling skills including object relationships, schema design, and process documentation.
- Work with project management tools daily and communicate progress clearly in writing.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development, debug complex problems, and deliver higher-quality solutions faster.
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required; Platform Developer II or additional certifications strongly preferred.
- Experience with Agentforce Nonprofit (Nonprofit Cloud) and Agentforce Education (Education Cloud) is a strong plus.
- Experience with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or Education Data Architecture (EDA) is a strong plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with a positive, solutions-first attitude.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data architecture and governor limits.
- Familiarity with Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- Ability to provide examples or references from past Salesforce work.
- Familiarity with EOS methodology is a plus.
- Must reside in or plan to relocate to one of the following states: Indiana, Michigan, New York, Colorado, or Texas.
