Job Description

Role and Location

We are seeking a Splunk SOAR Developer for a client in the financial services sector. The role supports the Security Operations Department and the Security Automation team. Location options include Chicago, IL 60661; Denver, CO; and Washington, DC. Onsite presence is required five days per week at the designated location.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain advanced security automation workflows using Splunk SOAR (Phantom).
Create custom applications and integrations from scratch to connect security tools and automate response actions.
Implement secure credential management, robust error handling, and comprehensive logging within automation solutions.
Review API documentation and securely integrate third party services to support automation efforts.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure automation solutions comply with enterprise change management standards and best practices.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk SOAR or Phantom, including building custom applications and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Python for scripting and developing custom solutions.
Experience with REST APIs, third party integrations, and secure credential management.
Solid understanding of Splunk SOAR architecture, including key daemons and services.
Experience with version control systems such as Git and familiarity with enterprise change management processes.
