Job Description

Join Mid Continent Controls, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer for Rosen Aviation. This onsite role is based in Derby, KS or Eugene, OR, offering a USD 94,000 - 120,000 per year salary. The position focuses on architecting, designing, and implementing software for aircraft cabin systems, including sustaining support and automated production testing software, with a commitment to continuous process improvement. Responsibilities

Architect and specify software as a member of the Rosen product software team, designing and implementing solutions.
Oversee successful execution and governance of all software life cycle stages.
Provide sustaining support for released products.
Develop world class production testing software with an emphasis on automation.
Drive continuous improvements to the development process.

Requirements

7+ years of software development experience.
Extensive experience with Git.
Strong proficiency in C++ and C.
Extensive experience with AOSP (Android Open Source Project) or another embedded Linux OS.
5+ years of Linux kernel driver development.
5+ years of experience using Java.
