Job Description

Visual Soft, Inc is seeking a Mid Level Cloud DevOps Engineer for a Top Secret, fully onsite assignment in Huntsville, AL. The role centers on designing, automating, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps pipelines within a classified AWS environment.

Responsibilities

Design, automate, and sustain cloud native infrastructure using AWS services and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
Administer Linux-based systems to ensure high availability, security, and compliance.
Develop automation scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for provisioning and monitoring.
Configure networking components in AWS, including VPCs, IAM roles, security groups, and encryption policies.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevSecOps practices, improving release cycles and reliability.
Monitor production systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools, and troubleshoot issues.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to support rapid delivery cycles.
Support accreditation and compliance activities under DoD/IC security frameworks such as NIST, RMF, and FedRAMP.

Requirements

U.S. Citizens with an active Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree with at least five years of experience.
Deep expertise in AWS cloud services.
Terraform experience for infrastructure as code.
Linux system administration background.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Proven track record building scalable, secure, and automated DevSecOps pipelines.
