Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance C/C++ software components, including GUI-based test applications and API wrapper DLLs for SDK products on Windows and Linux.
- Perform hardware/software integration, debugging, and performance optimization; develop and execute test scripts for full verification of deliverables.
- Lead technical design reviews, tackle complex system-level debugging, and mentor junior to mid-level engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance.
- Identify and resolve customer technical issues related to software applications and SDKs.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree.
- Core Language Skills: Deep proficiency in C/C++ and solid scripting capabilities (Python or Bash) for automation and data analysis.
- System Knowledge: Experience developing software for custom FPGA-based hardware.
- Embedded Protocols: Familiarity with data buses and protocols such as PCIe, USB, ARINC 818, and Ethernet.
