The Senior Application Developer role focuses on delivering robust application solutions through advanced design, configuration, development, and testing, with the ability to work independently on mission-critical features while providing technical guidance to teammates.

Responsibilities
- Lead the end to end design, coding, and testing for modules or multiple features and enablers.
- Analyze user requirements and establish the technical scope and assumptions during backlog grooming sessions.
- Develop requirements definitions, designs, and technical specifications for sprint planning activities.
- Produce business and or technical designs for new or modified application features or enablers.
- Configure systems in alignment with approved specifications.
- Assess and remediate configuration and application issues.
- Support customers in developing test plans and test cases to ensure validation aligns with requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less senior development staff as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's degree with 10 or more years of experience required
- Alternatively, 6 or more years of experience may substitute for the degree
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with software application design, development, and testing
- At least 5 years of experience with the Appian BPM Platform
- Background check is required
- U.S. citizenship is required
