Job Description

Crash Engineer, LLC is looking for an experienced website designer and developer to completely redesign its company website. This hybrid contract role in San Antonio, TX focuses on modern design, responsive performance, SEO, and lead-generation features that help convert visitors into consultation requests.

The engagement centers on delivering a website that reflects the professionalism and credibility of the engineering team, communicates services clearly to attorneys, insurance professionals, and corporate clients, and supports ongoing maintenance and expansion as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Redesign and modernize the existing website.
  • Create a clean, responsive design that performs well on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Improve navigation and overall user experience.
  • Develop service pages that highlight engineering and accident reconstruction expertise.
  • Design compelling calls-to-action that encourage visitors to request consultations.
  • Optimize the website for speed and search engines (SEO).
  • Integrate contact forms and lead capture functionality.
  • Recommend improvements to branding, imagery, and content layout.
  • Ensure the site is easy for the team to update after launch.
  • Provide basic training or documentation for website management.

Requirements

  • Experience designing websites for professional service firms such as engineering, legal, consulting, medical, or financial companies.
  • A strong portfolio showing modern, professional websites.
  • Experience with WordPress.
  • Experience with Webflow.
  • Experience with Wix Studio.
  • Experience with Squarespace (if appropriate).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Google Search Console.
  • Knowledge of mobile optimization.
  • Knowledge of website performance optimization.
  • Understanding of ADA accessibility standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a project from concept through launch.
