Webmaster/Web Developer Contractor

Swift International Service Group offers a contract Webmaster and Website Developer role that prioritizes a flexible, remote-friendly setup. You will evaluate our current online presence, decide whether to build a new site from scratch or modernize an existing one, and collaborate with leadership to deliver a professional, high-performing site that enhances branding, usability, security, and long-term scalability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive audit of both existing Swift websites.
• Offer clear recommendations on building a new site from the ground up or modernizing one of the existing sites.
• Present advantages, disadvantages, estimated costs, timelines, and long-term maintenance considerations.
• Design a clean, modern, mobile-first corporate website.
• Improve overall navigation and customer experience.
• Simplify website structure while preserving complete service information.
• Ensure branding consistency across all pages.
• Develop or improve pages including Home, About Us, Equipment Rentals, Fleet Services, Transportation Services, Construction Support, Real Estate Services, Digital Marketing Division, Contact Us, Careers, Customer Request Portal, Rental Request Portal, News & Updates, Safety & Compliance, Customer Testimonials.
• Involve website architecture planning, front-end development, and back-end development if applicable.
• Implement a CMS, ensure mobile responsiveness, and improve ADA accessibility.
• Implement SSL, optimize performance and images, and enhance website speed.
• Execute SEO optimization, Google Analytics integration, and Google Search Console setup.
• Set up sitemap, strengthen security, prevent malware, implement backups, and plan for website recovery.
