Web & Windows Application Developer

Overview

The Web & Windows Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of Web and Windows applications intended to provide user friendly and efficient solutions for internal stakeholders and clients for our ever evolving and expanding business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle from concept to delivery, including design, user interface considerations, database design, and .NET development.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to gather specifications and requirements for proposed projects.
• Review, document, and update work using the Synergy project management tool and associated processes.
• Perform unit testing and assist users with UAT and QA requirements for assigned applications.
• Cross-train with development team members on in-house applications to deepen understanding of current systems.
• Conduct code peer reviews and audits to satisfy company and regulatory compliance needs.
• Maintain existing sites and applications as needed to ensure ongoing performance and reliability.
• Complete yearly compliance and security training as assigned throughout the year.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, UX Engineer/Designer and other technical groups in a cross-functional environment.
• Maintain consistent and regular attendance according to an established schedule.
• Work onsite in accordance with CCS and department policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience with C# programming language.
• Minimum three years of experience with ASP.NET.
• Minimum three years of experience with SQL Server.
• Minimum two years of experience with MVC 5, Entity Framework, WCF, or Webservices.
• Minimum two years of experience working with and creating APIs.
• Strong understanding and application of HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Knockout, and AJAX.
• Coachability: receptive to feedback, willing to learn, committed to continuous improvement and adaptable to change.
