Responsibilities

• Build, customize, and maintain WordPress sites, including custom themes, plugins, and ongoing upkeep across a range of clients
• Take projects from wireframe to live deployment on every device
• Turn AI-assisted prototypes into clean, production-ready WordPress builds
• Track and report on web performance, site health, and SEO, then act on what you find
• Manage site security, run updates, and catch issues before they become problems
• Maintain and improve existing client sites
• Build new client websites from scratch as we bring on new business

Requirements

• At least five years of web development experience, or a portfolio demonstrating it
• Deep WordPress knowledge: themes, plugins, custom builds
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Understanding of SEO best practices and key web performance metrics
• Experience using AI tools in your workflow
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts
• Comfort adapting across different industries and visual styles
