Varicent Developer

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Varicent Developer to join our Chicago team onsite. This role offers a competitive annual salary of $90,000-$115,000 and the chance to shape Varicent Incentives solutions, oversee data integration and ETL pipelines, and deliver dashboards and analytics that drive compensation decisions. You will collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, and HR to support compensation cycles and ensure accurate, timely payouts, all within a structured governance framework.

Responsibilities

• Varicent Development & Configuration: Design, configure, and maintain Varicent Incentives modules, covering compensation models, components, rules, calculations, data tables, data integrations, workflows, and approvals. Build and optimize Incentive Compensation Management models to align with plan changes and evolving business needs.
• Data Management & Integration: Manage ETL processes for loading and transforming data from sales, HR, and finance sources. Create and maintain robust data pipelines to support accurate and timely compensation processing. Troubleshoot data quality issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop dashboards and reports within Varicent using Composer, Presenter, or related modules. Provide insights on sales performance, incentive payouts, quota attainment, and trends; deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual compensation analytics to leadership.
• Support & Operations: Execute monthly and quarterly compensation runs, validations, and reconciliations. Resolve system issues, calculation discrepancies, and user queries. Partner with Sales Ops, Finance, and HR to support compensation cycles.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain documentation for models, rules, data flows, and integrations. Ensure audit readiness and internal controls; assist with UAT, testing, and deployment of enhancements.
