Job Description

General Dynamics Information Technology invites you to join the NIGHTRAVEN program on site in Hanover, MD as a System Software Engineer. This position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 and a competitive annual compensation range of $186,575 to $252,425. You will lead a team delivering mission critical system software using modern DevOps tooling, within an award-winning, military-friendly culture that supports growth and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sprint planning and execution, oversee testing and release documentation, and assign tasks while coordinating with the customer lead
  • Collaborate with the PMO, customer leads, and team members to align goals and deliverables
  • Drive process improvements to increase innovation and efficiency
  • Utilize Jira, Jenkins, Docker and other DevOps tools to manage the development lifecycle

Requirements

  • Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
  • Experience: 10+ years in related roles
  • Technical skills: SCRUM management, Docker and other DevOps tools, Git, Jenkins, Nexus
  • Preferred knowledge: Cypress software testing
  • Working knowledge: Angular, Spring Boot, Java, JavaScript, Linux operating systems (Rocky and Red Hat)
  • Security clearance: TS/SCI Full Scope with the DoW customer
  • US citizenship required
  • Strong communication skills, capable of managing sprints, coordinating sprint backlog, facilitating test environments, and managing release candidates (EOTR)
