Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation seeks a remote, contract Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer based in Scranton, PA to design coding challenges for AI training, produce clear code with explanations, and evaluate AI-generated solutions on a project-driven schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and craft a variety of coding problems used to train AI systems
• Write clean, high-quality code snippets accompanied by detailed explanations
• Assess AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability
• Provide actionable feedback that directly informs the next generation of AI models

Requirements

• English fluency at native or professional bilingual level
• Proficiency in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift
• Strong writing and grammar skills
• Bachelor's degree either completed or in progress
