Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Agentic Systems

On-site Mountain View, CA, the Staff Machine Learning Engineer role focuses on building scalable AI agent systems for enterprise workflows with end-to-end integration across Moveworks and ServiceNow, and requires 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Tackle challenging engineering problems to design and evolve reliable AI agent systems for enterprise workflows.
• Prototype and productionize frontier AI algorithms and architectures at scale.
• Leverage the latest ML, large language models, and AI agent techniques to enhance products and deliver compelling user experiences.
• Contribute to the product roadmap and drive the evolution of engineering areas with growing scope and impact to create lasting customer value.
• Write robust, extensible, readable, and performant code.
• Partner with subject matter experts across machine learning, security, product, user experience, and customer success to learn from peers and build the best enterprise AI product.
• Mentor other engineers on building, maintaining, and evolving high-quality software.
• Collaborate with fellow ML engineers to learn from each other and construct world-class AI systems.
• Drive end-to-end integration with Moveworks and ServiceNow to embed AI agents into enterprise workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing, building, and improving production systems, ideally at scale.
• Ability to articulate complex engineering problems and systems clearly.
• Comfort giving and receiving feedback and maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
• Readiness to hit the ground running in a Mac development environment, with programming in Python, Go, and/or Java.
• Desire to ship at startup pace with a high degree of ownership.
• Attention to detail.
• Drive to ship product improvements with production-grade code.
• Strong appetite for continuous incremental wins and completing challenging projects quickly.
• High level of curiosity about engineering beyond the immediate discipline and a continuous desire to stay at the cutting edge of applied AI.
