Sr Software Engineer
Job Description
Techtronic Industries is hiring a Sr Software Engineer to support end-to-end software delivery for Milwaukee Tool. This hybrid role is based in Downtown Milwaukee (not remote), where you will design, develop, deploy, test, troubleshoot, and support software across the lifecycle using modern cloud and web technologies.
As part of the Software Engineering division, you will work within product-aligned teams to implement sustainable solutions that meet specified standards and end-user requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy sustainable solutions across the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
- Deliver software that meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (or related field), or 4+ years of related experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- 2+ years designing, developing, and deploying microservices to AWS
- Experience with object-oriented and protocol-oriented design methodologies
- Experience working on a product team or squad
- Experience with Git source control and team code reviews
- Experience with .NET: Framework 4.5+, C#, MS SQL Server, and MySQL
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as a Code tools
- Experience with React, Angular, and Tailwind CSS is a plus
- Experience using, or willingness to learn, AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
