Sr. Software Engineer
Job Description
Join an onsite, Erie, PA based contract as a Sr. Software Engineer focused on performance testing. This 1-year engagement centers on performance test engineering for migration efforts and IT enterprise core integration within the Performance Testing team. The role offers a collaborative environment with cross-functional teammates and exposure to AWS migrations and multi-platform initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a performance engineer on highly complex migration projects and broader application work.
- Help lead the core team to successful outcomes by applying technology expertise, core integration knowledge, and fundamental practices.
- Provide the enterprise technology office with signoffs for PEGT and CAB through a streamlined process, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Join the Performance Testing team with a focus on IT enterprise core integration initiatives.
- Support key initiatives such as Billing V3, Customer Service new applications, and Data team efforts.
- Engage with new ways of working, including AWS migrations and overarching application work across multiple technical platforms.
Requirements
- Experience with LoadRunner Enterprise or a similar load testing tool.
- Ability to validate application interactions and dependencies across areas within a single environment.
- Participation or ownership of quality review processes (for example PEGT, CAB).
- Experience gathering and defining performance test requirements.
- Integrated requirements management practices; Jira, Gitlab, and ServiceNow are a bonus.
