Sr. Mobile Software Engineer

Senior mobile software engineer to design, develop, and maintain the MyoPro mobile app across Android and iOS (Flutter/Dart), translating user needs and clinical requirements into reliable mobile workflows with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications for Android and iOS, currently built with Flutter and Dart.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Product Management to implement and sustain components with a focus on safety, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend services, REST APIs, BLE devices, and third‑party libraries.
• Participate in architecture discussions, workflow design, and key technical decisions for the mobile product.
• Work with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering to translate user needs into clearly defined features.
• Improve software quality through test‑driven development, coding standards, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team and mentor junior engineers as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience building mobile apps with Flutter and Dart, or equivalent cross‑platform or native frameworks, with the ability to ramp up quickly in Flutter.
• Extensive mobile or software engineering experience (typically 8+ years), including developing and publishing apps to Google Play and the Apple App Store.
• Experience delivering software in a regulated environment such as medical devices, automotive, or aerospace.
• Experience with REST APIs, BLE, MVVM architecture, and cloud‑based services.
• Experience implementing authentication and security protocols (JWT, OAuth) and cloud services.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automated testing frameworks.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies, frameworks, and domains quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred
