Software Engineer - Web Developer (Top Secret with agreement to obtain CI Poly)

North Point Technology seeks a highly capable, TS-cleared Software Engineer to support geospatial intelligence and NGA-focused applications as part of a Scrum team. This onsite, Denver, Colorado role encompasses software requirements verification, development activities, and ongoing operational support, with eligibility to obtain a CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a software development Scrum team
• Assist with verification of software requirements
• Contribute to software development activities
• Provide operational support for deployed systems

Requirements

• Frontend web development using contemporary techniques and frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, LESS and SASS, responsive design, Bourbon, Twitter Bootstrap)
• JavaScript development following modern standards, including strict mode, modularization approaches and tooling, and libraries such as jQuery, Backbone.js, Ember.js, and D3
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience in agile team environments utilizing methodologies such as Scrum or Lean
• Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git and GitHub
• Ability to ensure Section 508 compliance in web applications
• Strong inclination to quickly research and learn new programming tools and techniques
• Familiarity with open-source solutions and collaborative communities
• Experience creating web layouts from static designs
• Experience building views and templates in full-stack frameworks such as Rails, Express, or Django
