Software Engineer Sr - Level 3 (Top Secret)

As a Senior Software Engineer on an Agile Scrum team within Lockheed Martin Space, you will develop and deploy solutions for a complex space system. This on-site role requires Top Secret/SCI clearance and work at a Lockheed Martin facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and simulate operational level plans to explore feasible defense options for space superiority in future scenarios
• Dynamically optimize terrestrial and space-based sensors to deliver comprehensive space domain awareness
• Strategically optimize the placement and maneuvering of satellite constellations to address evolving priorities

Requirements

• Experience developing software in Java, C++, JavaScript, or Python
• Experience with application containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with CI/CD including deployment pipelines and automated build/configuration tools (GitLab, ArgoCD)
• U.S. citizenship is required; current Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance. Position located at a facility requiring special access
